to other projects Wayne decided to pass the reins over
to the best people he could find and trust to keep up
the trafficology reputation - the Nitro team.

My name is Wayne Yeager, and I'm the webmaster for Trafficology.com. I started this site informally back in 1998, but I got sidetracked by my UnclaimedDomains site (which I eventually sold to internet.com), and it wasn't until October of 2000 that we produced the first issue. I realized from Day 1 that web success was mostly about traffic. But I was tired of trying the same old stuff that everyone else was using: newsgroups, sig files, FFA links, search engine submission, banner exchanges... you know the routine... and I decided that there must be a better way.

I also realized that people don't give away something 
for nothing. (That's why you'll rarely see genuinely 
useful, cutting-edge traffic tips on any other 
internet-marketing sites.) So I used good old-fashioned 
bribery!

And it worked like a charm!

Previously, I used to pay people cash for their ideas.
Now, I give every idea submitter the right to include
a few lines of their own marketing material at the
end of each article... and reach our 30,000+ subscribers.

So almost every day, I get emails from people with novel
and unique ways to boost traffic. People write in and 
share their most prized and "top secret" traffic
